Questions

Are Sundays always excluded?

Yes — Sundays are treated as weekly offs. Choose “All off” for Saturdays if you work a five-day week.

Why 2nd and 4th Saturdays?

Banks in India (RBI-regulated, under the Negotiable Instruments Act) close on the second and fourth Saturday of every month, so these are non-working days for banking.

Where do I find holiday dates?

Use your company's holiday list, the central government holiday list for your office, or your state's list of bank holidays published under the NI Act. Holidays that fall on a Sunday or off-Saturday are not subtracted twice.
